Last weekend, I moved to a new place after a month of searching for a suitable place to stay. Was bumping over with Jennifer, Fong and Jimmy at their lovely place on Coronation Drive for a month. They cook pretty well there compared to me. I loved their balcony overlooking the Wesley Hospital.
I usually spend my mornings on the balcony while waiting for everyone to wake up. I wake up automatically around 6ish. Mornings are the best times to start a day. The scenery from the balcony was absolutely wonderful.
Anyway, this is my second night sleeping on a bed. Honestly, it’s taking some time for me to get used to as I’ve been sleeping on the floor since coming to Brisbane. The new place is pretty good. Not cheap since it’s just a river away from the city. But, then again, it’s 10 minutes away from uni by ferry.
Yep. It’s like a ferry cruise for me everyday. I take the inner city ferry to travel up and down since it’s just five minutes from my apartment. Woohoo. But it’s still expensive even fully furnished. Must definitely survive independently on self-cook food if I need to stay with my budget… or probably get a casual job after my placements at Liveworm ends.
