Last weekend, we had lunch at this popular Hong Kong food franchise at 1Borneo—Xin Wang Hong Kong Café located right opposite of Watsons Pharmacy on the ground floor. If you would to walk in to another branch in Singapore for instance, can I tell you that it will look exactly the same!—walls plastered with images of the Hong Kong landscape and various illustrations and the controversial red chairs with the peculiar openings (for people to pass gas?).
Frankly-speaking, despite having eaten here several times so far, I do not feel the food here is anything impressive per se. Among their recommended dishes would be the cheese-baked dishes, the congee with a huge crab and pork floss dishes. Did I miss anything? Also, the food portions you get here reflects the price you pay at the end of the meal. Not really that cheap la.
