When I was 3, Dad met a farmer who handed over this huge stick insect he found somewhere at Ulu Moyog in Penampang district and realised that it could be a totally new species. He paid RM6 for it. Yesterday, his stick insect and him made world news.

Sharon: I think it was in the office. It was donated to the UK few years back and only got announced by scientists officially of its world record just recently.
