This afternoon I had the most interesting online conversations about ego and its manifestations. I chuckled when Emily mentioned of his ex who had a huge ego. All he talks about himself. What a major turnoff for anyone. And whether ego is a good thing. Look at Donald Trump himself. Big ego but modest during the right situations. Then again, is it wrong to imply that egos bring confidence as well?
Nonetheless, as much as I have changed over the past few weeks, I’m keeping my ego in check because of her. That is if it has not diminish completely since coming back here for good. I feel like a huge onion sometimes. But that, my friend, will be another entry for another day.

my man has a huge ego himself. sometimes it does get sliiiiightly overbearing. ok, so slightly is an understatement. but nothing a little gentle reminder can’t fix. but then again, i’ve yet to meet a dude without an ego.
