Figure 1. Lester, Frankie, Sharon and me.
“Tomorrow 9.30 Gaya St breakfast” the text message read.
Without much hesitation, “OK”, I replied.
For the few of us, time together is hard to come by once we start shifting into the working society. I have recently started working full-time. Lester is starting in a matter of weeks. Sharon is graduating mid-2008. Frankie seems eager to spend more time with his freelance business than ‘us’ as of late.

Figure 2. Playing with our ‘alter egos’
Gaya Street on the last Sunday before the Lunar New Year, was as expected, jam-packed with people doing last minute preparations. And to make things worst was the Chinese New Year amateur karaoke session in the public by ‘festive politician’ which greeted us at the entrance of the Gaya Street Markets. Laksa breakfast was delicious despite the time we spent waiting for a table was longer than the time spent on eating.

Figure 3. Best Tuaran noodles in Tuaran
To kill time before our next meal in Tuaran, we dropped by Karambunai for a short impromptu photo session–keeping ourselves entertained with Sharon’s camera feature to produce the shots in Figure 2. Does anyone know what is it called? ‘Mirroring’ function?
