A fortnight ago, I wanted to tell you how I think switching over to Maxis postpaid late May was one of the best decisions I have made recently. Previously a Digi Prepaid customer, it irked me ever so often when I receive a spam text message on my mobile. And between me and you, I hate Digi’s Yellow Man character. A lot.
That took a huge turn with the major service outage in Sabah on June the 30th. According to today’s Daily Express article, it happened at 1.23am causing the entire Maxis network to stop working in Sabah for the next 1-2 days. And to add salt to injury, people started to whine and complain (like most Malaysians do) the next day. Some threatening to jump ship. Some waiting for a rebate of some sort. Or at least I did.
I must tell you I still like Maxis.

actually there’s a service interuption for 3-4 days. I didn’t post up since I’m not using MAXIS for years :) DIGI rox! ;p
i’m all for maxis as well. to be honest, they have the best customer service- at least the ppl you speak to on the other end understand your grievance and know how to guide you to solve your problems, more often than not

I tot u hated Digi. Why is there a Digi’s ad here in ur blog? Maxis still rocks..
Btw.. I didnt complain.. BUT.. They keep sending sms every morning to notify me that I can enjoy the discounts for the phone calls that I make for the day. AT 9AM IN THE MORNING. And I am still sleeping!
