Figure 1. Before and after shots of the wall
I suppose it was inevitable. Life here is after all different on so many levels–and so to speak, occasionally, I find myself experiencing mild homesickness (Yes. I regarded Brisbane being my home for the past four years).
That said, on a positive note, I’ve decided that perhaps giving my bedroom of 8 years a renovation might be just the thing to give myself a brand new start. It needed a new lease life of life–a new wall colour, better lights, and new curtains! After all, a new room denotes a new me. I hope.

Figure 2. The H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E curtains!
The cupboards in Figure. 1 were recently dismantled to make way for this and free up space in the room. Next on the to-do list is to get the electrician to rewire the fluorescent light before sourcing someone for the paint job. The curtains will only be changed towards the end of the renovation. Fingers crossed.
I’m eyeing for a mossy-coloured feature wall and pale cream white for the surrounding walls.
What sort of colour do you have in mind for your own dream room?

my rooms always end up in white shades… all except the room in my bro’s apartment in penang. it turned out really pink. but i guess it is all ok… my bro used a mossy green on one panel of the wall and the rest he used a complementing yellow. it didn’t look that bad actually. good luck choosing the colors… it gave me a terrible headache trying to figure out for my bro’s place. =)

hi! =)
I did reply to your comment the entry you commented.
Suggest you light pink, I know it sounds girlish, but ease your eyes. Well, what about baby blue? mm..
0o0o,you’ve been in Brisbane for 4years. Welcome back home!
