It was fresh seafood gluttony at its finest at the Sydney Fish Market. The Sydney Fish Market is after all one of the largest kind in the Southern Hemisphere and auctions over 100 species daily.
It was a shame that we didn’t bothered to wake up early to join their weekly behind-the-scenes tour. Auctions start as early as 5.30am every weekday. More information about tour information.
The lobster rich in melted cheese comes highly recommended. There is a specific name for it. But I don’t seem to remember. The crabs… the squids… grilled octopuses… mussels(?)… crumbed fish and chips… tiger prawns — all part of our gluttony Saturday at the Sydney Fish Market.
