Dropped by the Greater Union Cinemas last weekend to watch Kinky Boots. A British film set in Northampton. Northampton… I have a friend who’s doing her A-levels there. She didn’t fancy that place that much. Preferred places like Milton and London to live in I guess. Nevertheless, it’s fancy to have a glimpse of Northampton. My friend–you know who you are. Hehe.
The movie itself is brilliant! It’s about this guy who finds himself a niche market producing kinky boots to save his shoe factory. There’s heaps of drag-queens involved since their target market will be them. Houses a variety of interesting characters which contributes to the overall success of this movie.

Interesting, this film is showing in Perth too, was wondering whether I should check it out.
hmmm… northampton is boring…northampton has a famous shoes factory but i have no idea at all where it is.
