This is a photograph I took earlier this evening. Was about to exit the building when I noticed smoke billowing upwards from afar. Being an inquisitive one (actually kepoh), I parked the car, came out with my camera and took the shot. It wasn’t actually smoke per se, just a routine spray of anti-mosquito fumes around the vicinity.
For the unaware, the building in the background is the yet-to-be-opened Suria Sabah shopping mall which was due to open back in October. I mentioned previously that MPH expressed interest in it a while back. Apparently, rumors are going around that Times bookshop might be opening a branch there instead.

Last Wednesday, I volunteered to assist in setting up the One Life exhibition for World Vision together with Charlotte and Stella. Epic nightmare. We were tasked to hang curtains at the entrances of each door in the wooden set-up. Some of the curtains were made of gunny sack material — instantly triggering my allergy towards dust.
Then again, let me re-iterate that it was in fact for a good cause despite me having to take a day off from work the recover. The One Life exhibition was part of an HIV/AIDS and child-trafficking awareness campaign to educate people by giving them a chance to walk in the shoes of 3 children affected by HIV/AIDs. More information can be found on its interactive website here.
