Figure 1. Too or two?
After breakfast with Dino and Chrystella, Michelle and I drove around KK. Literally. To search for a hair saloon which was opened on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year. We tried first the recommended ones–Zon M Saloon (Closed!), Hair Make (Moved!) and Modes (Closed!) and finally went with the only alternative, Rebecca Saloon Too.
As humorous as it sounds, I was spending the whole time figuring out whether the ‘too’ was intentional or perhaps a terrible spelling mistake.

Figure 2. Almost-pouting Michelle
This hair-cutting person (a very busy women indeed) only attended to Michelle after a 30-minute wait. Hence the Wth look on Michelle’s face. Mine finished shortly after hers started.

Figure 3. Hinching with shorter messy hair
We get it all the time. “Is he your boyfriend?”. “Is she your girlfriend?”. Stunningly today I thought of something brilliant. I answered, “No. We are sisters.” Haha. You see if the questions sounded something like this “Is that ‘liangzhai’ your boyfriend?” I wouldn’t hesitate. “Yes I am.” The ‘liangzhai’ part that is.
P.S. Michelle would do exactly the same thing. No doubt.
Is it bad luck to cut your hair after Chinese New Year?

OMGOD, you went to Rebecca Salon Too? Euuukksss! I went there and she completely destroyed my hair! I’m never ever going back there again. At least you waited only 30 minutes, my friends and I waited nearly 2 hours! =/ Go figure.
