Our morning at the Lok Kawi Zoo

At the queue

A few weeks ago, on a hot weekend, Yien and I visited the local zoo situated in Lok Kawi right after breakfast at Foo Phing earlier that day. Some of our personal highlights were the ’short’ queue which still took a good 20 minutes before we purchased our tickets, the capuchin monkey which gave us a scare, the other animals (fact is they’ve done a very good job with the place) and the hot weather (it did rained subsequently late noon).

Yien: How come you so ‘po ma’ one? Fan, also bring. Just like ‘ah pak’.

Me: (Fanning myself and her at the same time) Hehehehe.

Heck, I almost wanted to bring my umbrella out as well. And I had a bottle of water in the car. You know, if Mum was there, she would said it was an effort well done at least until she realized that I forgot the sun block.

I don’t want Yien to get sun tanned, ok? =)
